Merano 2000 Ski Area

Winter magic and snow flurry – enjoy the joys of the winter

The family ski area of Merano 2000 is known for its mild climate, wide array of recreational facilities, and excellent eateries featuring home-style cuisine, table service, and spacious sun terraces.

The ski and sledge slopes are perfectly prepared, thanks to an early snowfall, the bob sleds from the Alpine Bob are all lined up and Lucki, the Hafling mascots, awaits the little guests at the Kinderland.
The numerous sun terraces are cleaned up and the hosts of the various alpine huts offer again their best Tyrolean dishes.
A highlight of the winter season are the sleddings by night on selected days.

The ski and hiking area is perfectly suited for families, recreational skiers, beginners, and children.
Skiers enjoy around 40 kilometres of runs at Merano 2000; most are intermediate-level slopes. Snowboarders, freeriders and carvers will find wide slopes and demanding passages as well. Backcountry skiers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoe hikers have an extensive area at their disposal. The 3-km-long sledding trail holds a lot of fun in store.
Real athletic challenges await ice climbers and paragliders, too. The ski area of Merano 2000, which is very close to town, offers designated starting points for paragliding and tandem flights in the winter at the summit station of the cable car. Those who love horses can also book trail rides or horse-drawn sleigh rides through the winter woods.
