The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle

On the hillside above Merano the Castle, the former holiday residence of the Empress Sisi of Austria, donates visitors some hours of tranquillity and harmony among flowers and plants original from all over the world.
At the inside of the Castle you'll find the Touriseum: Scenes from the past are brought alive in a series of rooms which take the visitor on an exciting journey in time through over 200 years of the history of tourism, seen from the point of view of both the traveller and the locals.
